Privacy Policy for Dr Danielle Naudé Inc trading as Naudé Family Practice (the Practice)

The Practice is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our patients' personal and health information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the National Health Act.

We collect personal information necessary for medical treatment, billing and communication. 

This includes:

  • Personal identifiers: name, ID number, contact details and physical address.
  • Medical information: health history, clinical notes and diagnostic results (Special Personal Information). 
  • Financial information: medical aid details and billing history.


3. Purpose of processing

Your information is processed solely for:

  • Providing high quality medical care and treatment.
  • Processing claims with medical schemes
  • Maintaining accurate medical records as required by law. 
  • Communicating with you regarding appointments and health updates. 


4. Disclosure of information

We will not share your information with third parties without your express consent, except:

  • To medical schemes for reimbursement.
  • To referring specialists or laboratories involved in your care. 
  • Where required by law or a court order. 


5. Data security

The Practice implements strict physical and digital security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss or destruction.


6. Your rights
